Ti Quan Yin – Monkey Picked

Description

Ti Quan Yin – Monkey Picked tea is one of the most famous of Chinese Oolong teas. Called Monkey Picked, simply means that these oolongs are from a high elevation, generally grown on cliff sides, and presumably only monkeys could reach them. It is processed in the old style, the tea is partially-oxidized.

Origin

Anxi, Fujian Province

Appearance

Tightly rolled large dark jade green leaves rolled into tight balls. The infusion is yellowish green.
