Organic White Peony

Description

*Organic White Peony is the second finest White tea after Yin Zhen. While the flavour is mild, this tea has a depth that will allow you to enjoy the many nuances of this fine tea. White tea is particularly valuable for its anti-toxin and cooling properties in reducing body heat. White Tea buds are naturally dried in little daylight, and slightly heated followed by a second natural drying.

Origin

Fuding, Fujian Province

Appearance

Hand picked bud set – bud and one or two leaves, long and fine downy silver-white tea leaves. When steeped, the leaves slowly open up resembling petals of a peony blossom. The infusion is golden.

Taste

The taste of this tea is smooth, delicate with a fresh aroma and highly refreshing. White tea is commonly referred to as the “Champagne of Tea”.
