Description
Big Red Robe is the king of the Famous Five Rock Teas in the Wu Yi Mountain of China. Grown on cliff side in small vintages. This tea is legendary, records of its existence date back to the early 18th century. During Qing Dynasty, Da Hong Pao was declared “King of Tea”. This tea is partially oxidized.

Wu Yi Shan, Fujian Province
Appearance
Dark green / brown curled tea leaves. The infusion is amber in colour.
Taste
Complex and aromatic. Full bodied tea, smoky flavour with a sweet lingering aftertaste.
