The finest and most delicate of White teas. White Pekoe Silver Needle (Bai Hao Yin Zhen) is produced using only the most tender tea buds from the first flush of the Great White tea tree. White tea is particularly valuable for its anti-toxin and cooling properties in reducing body heat.

Origin

Fu'an, Fujian Province

Appearance

Tea buds are covered with silvery down. When steeped, the tea buds stand upright like a forest of stalagmites in the cup, creating a beautiful visual sight. Infusion is light golden.

Taste

This tea fragrance is refreshingly sweet while the taste is clean, smooth and very delicate.
